    • Laboratory investigation on cooling effect of multi-layer phase change asphalt concrete

    • In the field of road engineering, researchers prepared a three-layer composite structure of phase change asphalt concrete containing PEG by testing the phase change temperature of polyethylene glycol with different molecular weights. The effects of PEG layer, interlayer combination, and molecular weight on the thermal storage and cooling of the composite structure were analyzed. The results indicate that PEG with high molecular weight has a better cooling effect on road surface structures than PEG with low molecular weight.
