    • Effect of Gd on microstructure and hydrogen embrittlement of AZ91‐extruded magnesium alloy

    • In the field of magnesium alloys, researchers have prepared AZ91 and AZ91 xGd magnesium alloys by extrusion method, and studied their microstructure, hydrogen charging and hydrogen embrittlement behavior through various methods. The results indicate that with the addition of Gd, the hydrogen embrittlement sensitivity of AZ91 magnesium alloy is greatly reduced, effectively improving its resistance to hydrogen embrittlement.
