    • Impacts of driving ability recovery state on characteristics of traffic oscillation in automated driving takeover process

    • In the field of autonomous driving, researchers have found through simulation experiments and Gaussian mixture model analysis that it takes about 27 seconds for drivers to recover their driving ability after taking over. Taking over can cause traffic oscillations, and the duration of oscillations is positively correlated with the duration of driving ability recovery and disturbance intensity.
