New honeycomb multi-stage thin-walled structure with high efficiency energy absorption characteristics
“In the field of thin-walled structures, experts simulated multi-level nested honeycomb structures, optimized the design of biomimetic structures, prepared nylon samples and conducted experiments. It was found that the YMT20-3.6 model achieved a specific energy absorption of 10.87 J · g-1, an increase of about 86%.”
